Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an Turkish-born mother from England. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of commercials for television. Anna moved to Toronto in November 1999 to pursue her acting talents. Then, she settled in Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Anna met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop located in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in the year 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows during the Jewish wedding in Fredericton.
